Performing Benny McCoy at the Paramount

On January 7, 2000 The Paramount Theater in Bristol,TN was host for a very special concert, The AcuTab Sessions All Star Jam. Jointly sponsored by AcuTab Publications, The Paramount Theater and the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance, the show featured most of the artists from the "Knee Deep In Bluegrass" project in an extremely rare joint live appearance.

The show was such a huge hit that loose plans were laid to make it an annual event. The second show was held on January 6, 2001 with both a matinee and an evening concert. Once again, AcuTab and The Paramount are looking to do it in 2002, on January 12.

AcuTab All Star Concert Video

The initial concert in January 2000 was professionally recorded on video with an eye towards a VHS release. This video will include live performances of material from the "Knee Deep In Bluegrass" CD as well as live versions of selections from the various artists' solo projects. The post production has been delayed a number of times since the video was shot but we are continuing to work towards a release sometime in 2002.
