Tablature Books for Knee Deep in Bluegrass will be released in June, 2000


Despite many delays and missed deadlines, AcuTab really has been hard at work producing transcription books to accompany the "Knee Deep In Bluegrass" CD! The banjo book is now complete and books are being finished for guitar and mandolin.

The banjo book contains all of the solos from 7 great banjo players: Terry Baucom, Joe Mullins, Alan Munde, Sammy Shelor, Tony Trischka, Scott Vestal and Pete Wernick. In addition, backup arrangements are included for Sammy Shelor, Terry Baucom and Joe Mullins. All songs are presented in tab and the book sells for $20.00 (USD).

The guitar book will feature the solos as played by both Kenny Smith and Tim Stafford. There will also be four examples of Tim Stafford's powerful rhythm guitar work. All tunes will be presented in both tab and standard notation.

The mandolin book will feature the solos from 4 super mandolin players: Butch Baldassari, Wayne Benson, Alan Bibey and Adam Steffey. Two songs feature transcriptions for triple mandolins! All tunes will be presented in both tab and standard notation.
