Daddy's Dream

Dave Denman grew up as a part of a musical family in Crawfordsville, IN. His dad played on the Grand Ol' Opry in 1963 and took Dave and his brothers anywhere that the music could be heard. Dave reports that one of his earliest childhood memories of music was in the old barn at the Bill Monroe festival in Bean Blossom, IN.

Dave learned to play several instruments at an early age and, prior to joining Union Station in 1986, played in the Denman family band and a number of regional bands near his Indiana home.

These days he enjoys singing and playing with his wife, Cindy, and his three beautiful daughters, Amie, Dara and Kayla. "It's like my Dad used to say, 'If people seem to enjoy my old junk, I guess I'll keep playing it!'"
