Alan Bibey Long regarded as one of the most technically gifted mandolinists in bluegrass, Alan first hit the scene with The New Quicksilver in 1986 with whom he recorded one album, "Ready For The Times." He next appeared as a founding member of IIIrd Tyme Out and can be heard on their first two releases on Rebel. After one year (and one recording) with Lou Reid & Carolina, Alan has settled in with Terry Baucom in Blue Ridge. Their debut project, "Common Ground," is available on Sugar Hill records and a new CD project is being completed for an early 2002 release. |
